Lauren Kyle, MD

Dr. Kyle is a native of Johnson County, KS and a mother of three. After completing her undergraduate work at the University of Kansas, she attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She graduated in the top of her class, achieving Alpha Omega Alpha honors. Dr. Kyle then spent four years in dermatology residency training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. There, she served as chief resident and trained in adult, pediatric, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology as well as dermatopathology. Upon completion of residency, Dr. Kyle returned home to Johnson County and began serving her hometown community.

Dr. Kyle is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Kyle has years of experience in both clinical dermatology and cosmetics. Her mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis. Our board-certified staff always consult with the attending physician prior to working with each patient in order to provide informed, consistent care at all times.

Brittany Oliver, MD

Dr. Oliver is a board-certified dermatologist born and raised in Orlando, Florida. After completing her undergraduate work at the University of Florida, she went on to graduate with distinction from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. While there, she received several awards including the Walter F. Rosenberg Award in Dermatology, bestowed upon the medical student who demonstrates the greatest interest, proficiency, and scholastic achievement in dermatology.

She remained in Washington, DC to complete her internal medicine internship at MedStar Health Georgetown-Washington Hospital Center. Her dermatology residency then took her to the University of Pennsylvania where she received top-notch training in adult, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in addition to dermatopathology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), currently serving on the AAD Public Web Content Work Group. She is also an active member of the Skin of Color Society (SOCS) and serves on the SOCS Technology and Media Committee.

Whitney Fancher, MD, FAAD, FACMS

Dr. Fancher is a Fellowship-Trained, Double-Board-Certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon who strives to provide each of her patients with compassionate care and patient-centered education of the highest quality.

Dr. Fancher grew up in Missouri, where she stayed for her undergraduate and medical training. She completed her undergraduate work at Truman State University, where she played varsity soccer, was inducted into the highly-esteemed Phi Beta Kappa, Kappa Phi, and Psi Chi honor societies, and graduated summa cum laude. She then earned her medical degree at The University of Missouri where she held many leadership and mentorship roles. Her medical training opened her eyes to the wide gap in access to healthcare both locally and internationally. This led her to help start the MedZou Free Health Clinic locally and to take four separate international trips to provide free health care to underserved populations. She moved to Chicago for residency training in Dermatology at the University of Illinois-Chicago where she served as Chief resident during her final year. Dr. Fancher’s last stage of training was her fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and cutaneous oncology at the renowned University of Wisconsin – where Dr. Fredrick Mohs invented the surgical technique now used to treat skin cancer across the world. In fact, Dr. Fancher is a third-generation trainee of Dr. Mohs himself! During her fellowship, Dr. Fancher received intensive training with three different Mohs surgeons as well as specialists in facial plastic reconstructive surgery and cosmetic dermatology.

Following her fellowship training, Dr. Fancher headed out to the Pacific Northwest where she practiced for seven years before returning to the Midwest to be closer to family. She has performed over 10,000 Mohs surgeries, thousands of excisions, and many cosmetic procedures. She has had the great pleasure of training numerous dermatology residents and Mohs surgical fellows. Dr. Fancher’s research has been published in several peer reviewed journals and presented at national meetings. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She is also a reviewer for the prestigious, peer-reviewed Dermatologic Surgery journal.

In her free time, Dr. Fancher enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs as well as sharing life with extended family, friends, and church community. She is an avid runner and has competed in many races including triathalons, marathons, half-marathons, and the Hood to Coast Relay- the largest and most popular running relay race in the world. She also enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and trying new restaurants and cuisines.

Taryne Hensley, APRN-C

Taryne is a licensed and board-certified nurse practitioner with a special focus on the diagnosis and treatment of all types of skin conditions. Mrs. Hensley completed her bachelors and masters degrees in nursing at the University of Kansas. Taryne is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Kansas as a family nurse practitioner and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Nurse Practitioner Society of the Dermatology Nurses' Association. She has been specializing in dermatology for years and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to treating patients' skin conditions. Her experience coupled with a friendly bedside manner have established her as a patient favorite.

Dana Lowry, PA-C

Dana is a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant and is licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. She is originally from a small town just outside of Dallas, Texas. Dana received her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in 2010. Shortly after graduating, she began working in both medical and cosmetic dermatology and it wasn't long before she realized that she wanted to further her education, specifically in dermatology. Dana went on to complete a Master's of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Western University of Health Sciences in California. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

Bridget Stillwell, APRN-C

Bridget is a licensed and board-certified nurse practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She completed her undergraduate and graduate education with Research College of Nursing in Kansas City, Missouri. Bridget accomplished her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner program with Academic Excellence. She is licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. She has been in practice since 2015 and has treated ages across the entire lifespan. Bridget is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Kansas State Nurses Association, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and serves on the Basser Center for BRCA young advisory board.

Vanessa Johnson, PA-C

Vanessa Johnson, born and raised in Kansas, has been a nationally board-certified, state licensed, Physician Assistant since 2008. She completed her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Missouri State University and received her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the University of Kansas. Vanessa has been practicing in dermatology since 2009 and has also worked in general pediatrics for nearly 7 years and part-time in urgent care. She was a NCAA Division II collegiate soccer player, earned All MIAA second team and was on academic honor roll. Vanessa played soccer at a competitive level since late elementary school winning state championships in club and high school. She was All-State, All-City, All-I-70, All-Region throughout her four years and was inducted into her high school soccer Hall of Fame in 2011. Vanessa has volunteered overseas in medical missions and participates in performing free skin cancer screenings in the community. She has been a guest lecturer for a few years at Research Medical Center teaching dermatology procedures to Nurse Practitioner students. She is an active member of the Kansas City Dermatology Society since 2009 and a fellow member of the Dermatology Society of Physician Assistants. She also enjoys allowing future healthcare students time to shadow and is a preceptor for University Missouri-Kansas City and Creighton University Physician Assistant students during their elective clinical rotations. She has been a volunteer for Wy/Jo Care providing care for under-served patients. Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, watching and playing sports. Vanessa Johnson is a motivated Dermatology Physician Assistant and has a true passion for general and surgical dermatology. She can empathize with many patients living with chronic skin conditions. She loves developing a good rapport and helping patients understand disease processes. Vanessa is receptive to patient preferences and loves to collaborate in medical decision making.

Haley Howard, LME, CLT

Haley is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician and Certified Laser Technician. She attended Bellus Academy in Manhattan, KS in 2012 for her aesthetics license. Then attended the National Laser Institute in Dallas, TX where she obtained her laser certification. She also received her cosmetology license prior to aesthetics. Haley specializes in customizing Skin Health Programs for her patients. She treats a wide variety of skin concerns, and of all skin types. She loves boosting the confidence of each of her patients and improving the health of their skin.
